The UK Kennel Club categorises breeds based on their original jobs.
However, the evolution of certain dogs can lead them to be placed in a different grouping than what we would expect.
Pastoral dogs come in all shapes and sizes, because they are not a precise breed.
A Pastoral dog is one of several official breed groups, which include Guarding, Working and Herding dogs.
