Today, I'm taking you on a journey through my day filled with fun, goodies, and a sprinkle of mischief.

So, grab a comfy seat and let me tell you all a little bit about a day in my life!

As a proud Shih Tzu, I come from the beautiful land of China, where my ancestors were pampered companions of royalty.

We are known for our luxurious coats, available in gold, black, and white.

With our short snouts and big, expressive eyes, we are undeniably adorable!

I might weigh around 9 to 16 pounds, but don’t let my size fool you! I have a big personality and a heart full of love.

In fact, studies show that Shih Tzus have a friendly temperament, making them perfect companions for families.

I thrive on attention and adore being the centre of my hooman's universe.

Each morning, I wake up to my hooman's voice.

It’s breakfast time! I prefer my kibble mixed with a bit of chicken or beef.

Yum! After my meal, I have a drink of my cool, fresh water.

Then I strut around the house, showing off my fluffy coat and wagging my tail like a proud queen of my castle.

Maintaining my beauty is vital.

Every day, I have my teeth cleaned with a tiny doggy toothbrush and some yummy-tasting doggy toothpaste.

These shiny pearls in my mouth need to look fit for a princess at all times.

My long, flowing fur needs regular brushing to stay fabulous.

My hooman dedicates time each week to bathing me and trimming my hair.

My eyes, ears and nails are checked too, ensuring I look my best.

I love the attention, and I always feel amazing afterwards!

Following my grooming session, it’s time for training.

I may be a tad stubborn, but I am pretty smart! I enjoy learning new tricks, especially when treats are involved.

My top three commands are “sit,” “stay,” and “roll over.”

These sessions not only teach me but also strengthen the bond with my hooman.

After training, it’s playtime! I adore chasing my squeaky toys and playing fetch and tug-of-war with them.

Sometimes we play hide-and-seek, and I find my hooman hiding behind the couch.

The thrill makes my tail wag even faster!

I curl up in my favourite sunny spot by the window, dreaming of treats and adventures. Napping is crucial for my beauty, and I take it very seriously!

When I wake up, it’s dinner time.

I enjoy a mix of high-quality dog food and fresh veggies.

My hooman knows to include my favourites like carrots and peas.

Eating is one of my top activities, and I savour every bite!

As the sun dips low, I love to cuddle with my hooman on the couch while watching TV.

I snuggle up close, appreciating the warmth and affection.

Sometimes, I even get to watch my favourite dog shows!

Before bedtime, we have one last play session.

I chase my toys around the living room, showcasing my speed and agility.

My hooman laughs and cheers me on, and that makes me feel like a superstar!

Finally, it’s time for bed. I curl up in my cosy dog bed, feeling happy and cherished.

I reflect on my adventurous day, filled with treats, playtime, and snuggles.
