THE HOUND DOG GROUP LIST

The UK Kennel Club categorises breeds by their original purpose.

However, the evolution of certain dogs can lead them to be placed in a different grouping than what we would expect.

The Hound Dog group list consists of Scent Hounds.

These are dogs who track by scent over long distances.

Also in this group are Sighthounds, which have exceptional vision and chase their prey at high speed after spotting it.
