A few days ago it was 2 years to the day since I lost my little wingman. I still feel the loss to this day. That evening I lit a candle to celebrate his life and our fabulous memories, memories I wouldn't have had, if I had not become his rescue mum.
Missing your pet months or even years after they’re gone doesn’t mean you haven’t moved on. It means your love for them was real, pure, and unforgettable.
Some bonds are too meaningful to simply fade away. Love like that doesn’t disappear—it stays with you forever. ❤️🐾
